The ZDV2 Playing Cards by December Boys draw heavy inspiration from the 1980s aesthetic and the vaporwave movement, aiming to capture a nostalgic, retro-futuristic vibe.
Reviving the Nostalgia of the VHS and Arcade Era. The design of the tuck case for the Z Deck V2 is a homage to the iconic aesthetic of the 1980s VHS movie cases and arcade games.
Inspired by the distinctive notch that characterized the paper cases of that era, our design team has meticulously crafted a custom box for this deck. When the tuck case is closed, it authentically replicates the appearance of a classic VHS tape case, capturing the nostalgic essence of that bygone era with precision and flair.
